[ careers ]

We're hiring slowly.

The first three hires shape what the next thirty look like. We're being deliberate. If you've spent years writing docs that decayed, or building tools to keep teams unstuck, this might be the company you've been waiting for.

[ open positions ]

None today. When something opens, it'll go here first.

We don't post roles on LinkedIn or Indeed before they appear on this page. If you check back in a few weeks and see something new, you're not late — you're early.

[ the kind of people we want ]

Three things that show up in every conversation.

Strong taste, expressed in code

Engineers who care how the product feels, not just whether it compiles. Designers who can ship. Writers who can read code and tell you which sentence is doing too much work.

Comfort with ambiguity

Most things here aren't decided. You'll see internal docs that say "we don't know yet" and PRs that say "this is the third try; here's why the first two were wrong." That's the honest shape of early infrastructure.

A reason to be here, specifically

Docs is a topic. Quill is a take on that topic. If you have your own take — even if it disagrees with ours — that's the email we want to read. Generic cover letters get a polite reply.

Send us a real email.

The thing you'd want to work on. Why you'd want to work on it here. A link to something you've built. That's it — we'll reply either way.
